COMMENTS: | Absorption cross sections have been measured using a dual wavelength spectrometer which can simultaneously perform single pass UV absorption spectroscopy (used to obtain the Cl2 concentration) and broad-band cavity enhanced absorption spectroscopy (BBCEAS) in the green region of the visible spectrum (instrument resolution 0.36 nm) The high-resolution absorption cross sections interpolated onto a 0.05 nm grid and the associated 1σ standard deviations have been obtained by personal communication from Francis Pope (Aug 2011); they are also to be found as "Supplementary information" published along with the online version of the article |
